Hi to all *SM folk.
I'm developing a reporting tool for TSM server.
My first goal has been to take the dsmaccnt.log file and extract from these 31 fields some usefull informations, with graphs and customizable query .
Next i'll add other thing usefull for have nice report of TSM work, right now is already working an occupancy report.
The tool work in a web enviroment, with PHP script and a Mysql DB (where i put all the information i want to work on).
Some features already working are:
-How much data was transferred during a custom period.
-How much space is taken up, on the TSM, by each node.
-Query over a custom period a single aspect of TSM (backup, archive or HSM).
-Show platform distribution over a custom period.
-Session time for each node over a custom period.
The project is released under GPL license and is in his forth release, still in alpha for the lack of tester (so far hopefully).
So if you want to spend some time to put it up, i'll be more than happy to answer any question or problem it can arise.
