Software Metering

Hi,

We are running the AMO (v3.2) Software Metering on our workstations, and we have configured it as silent. For some reason, on some workstations, the Software Metering window is being displayed, and it cannot be terminated. If we terminate the process (using the task manager) the computer shuts down.

Has anyone ever experienced this problem !?!

This is by design - it's to stop people doing nasty things while the metering is switched off!!!

That's why you should always try to run it silently, and then also hope that no-one goes into task manager and manually kills the processes...
