Every time I open Corel (I have version 12) or scan anything, the software manager pops up with these updates for me to download. I have downloaded them and installed them, yet it keeps popping up. I have gone to the help section of the update manager to see what to do to get it to stop. It says go to "settings" ....and then Blah blah blah... but there is no "settings" tab or button or anything. I have to wait for it to check for updates and it will not get out of the way until it has completed the search. It only takes 20-30 seconds but 25 times a day gets unreasonable. How do I make it stop popping up? Please help! Any light shed on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
David K. Iannarelli

I am having the very same issue, also with Corel version 12. This updates pop-up is very annoying and wastes my time and patience. It seems to me that there must be an option somewhere to turn it off (or at the very least a registry entry), but I have also been unable to locate it. If anyone knows how, please share the wealth! Thanks.

Update manager is in your control panel. I think you can turn it off there.
