After you login type 'display capacity'. The last page will show you the software load installed.

I'm not sure what you are refering to. I think you are trying to find out the software release from your load.

For instance: The load on one of my S8700's is "R013x.01.2.632.1". From this I know that my software load is Release 3.1.2.

From cli you can also type "swversion" to find information on the active/applied patches like so:

mylogin@mys8700> swversion
Operating system: Linux 2.6.11-AV15 i686 i686
Built: Jan 26 00:11 2006

Contains: 01.2.632.1
Reports as: R013x.01.2.632.1
Release String: S8700-013-01.2.632.1
UPDATES:
01.2.632.1-12866 unpacked hot patch 12866 for 01.2.632.1
01.2.632.1-14519 activated cold Incremental Build cm3-632.1

Translation Saved: 2007-10-24 02:00:53

License Installed: 2007-06-12 15:42:03

In this info I see that the patch that is activated on my system is "01.2.632.1-14519 ". This is where I get the 632.1. 14519 is a refrence number used by Avaya to identify the contents of the patch.
