Does anyone know of a software that i could use to open files more than 65000 records? Mostly I only need to be about to clean up lists with sorting and deleting.

I currently have to open them in ms Word and break then up into several files to use with excel.

Any advise?

How about MS Access?

The next version of excel will accommodate over 1 million rows. But who knows when that will actually be released?

For now you can try Access. It isn't so much, "like Excel", but it might suit your purposes.

I use UltraEdit, which is a text editor, but does allow you to sort and stuff. It would work much better with stadard width data rather than csv though... Might be worth a look, and you get XXdays free evaluation. (It's not expensive anyway)
