I would like to find an article comparing or contrasting these (or some of these) products:

Microsoft’s Asset Intelligence
Agilis’ EasyLicenser
ManageEngine AssetExplorer 5.5
BMC Remedy Asset Management
Flexera Software: Flexnet Compliance Monitor


Which one is recommended for a company around 50 employees and growing? We use Windows and Linux. Cost is a concern. We have so many different applications spread out over the network with several remote users. I think any of the above six would work, based on what I read. I want to choose carefully.

If you have under 500 employees, either use a simple excel sheet or a simple php/mysql database
