I am trying to add one criteria to a already working query. That criteria is software filename ="iexplore.exe". If I show values of this criteria while in the query design tool, the list is obviously short..... We inventory for several different extensions and the table is probably somewhere around 25+million lines. I have a feeling that there is a sql timeout on this "query" that is being hit or a result return limit in the value window, and since iexplore.exe does not show up in this window I wonder if the absense is more than aesthetic.
Thank you for any assistance you might provide,
Look at how you are adding the criteria. Make sure you have all of your "And" and "or" statements aligned and the logic is sound. Sounds like you have a logic error and the query is attempting to return most, if not all of the rows. Hope this is useful...
DrLove

MCSE + I
