Installing MCD5.0 SP1 using MSI 11.0.1.11.

Get as far as entering app record ID and pressing "retrieve licenses" then software installer crashes completely.

I can browse to sync.mitel-amc.com. When I browse I have to acknowledge a content filter warning from client firewall so I'm wondering if this is causing the crash in MSI. I also know SSH will be blocked at client firewall. I don't have option for alternate internet access as PBX's are offshore.
If I change the installer to do a full install and miss the licensing out then all goes well...

Full install is fine for the couple I've done so far as they're not in service- but upgrade would be better for the in-service PBX's.

Any suggestions to stop MSI crashing?

Well you know what the issue is aleady so no not really.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Are you using Windows XP pro ? have had the same issue and spent hours on it before trying on windows 7 with no issue. It only seems to be the two newest versions of the SI tool,11.0.0.33 works fine but this happens on 11.0.1.11 & 11.0.2.3 when using Windows XP Pro.

New version of the SI tool available to download to address this issue, came out last Monday.

This is a known problem with SI version 11.0.2.3. Nitel has posted version 11.0.2.4 on MOL and that fixes this crash issue.
