Software Install via GP - Verify installation

Hi All,

We plan to assign Adobe Reader 8 to around 400 machines via GP. Is there any way we can get a report on successful installs or alerts as to failed installs? We don't have adequate network inventory software on the network as of yet so is there any other way?
