Software file utilizing disk space 1

Hi,

Thanks in Advance, I have seen a file software in the location %root%WINNT\system32\config which is utilizing the hdd space, i want to know is this file a important file? waiting for your response.

It's only the HKLM\Software Registry Hive. If you delete that, you'll have some SERIOUS problems.

Basically, all the registry files (except HKCU) that are not dynamically created are located in that folder.
