Software Deployment in Multi-OS Lab Environment???

I manage a relatively small testing/training lab. We routinely need to turn over the environment at least once/week, to accomodate the various projects coming in and out.

I'm wondering if there are any good tools available for deployment of standard software images to my servers which will allow more than just a Windows installation (I know this is the Windows Server 2003 forum, and since that's what we load most of the time, it seemed the best place for the question). I'd say 85% of the installations that occur are Windows installs (typically 2003 Enterprise), but the other 15% is comprised of Linux and Solaris installations. Even if I could just get something to handle the Linux (since I think it'd be overly optimistic to hope for something that could handle Solaris, too), it would be a good start. Will Altiris handle that? Or PC-DUO Enterprise?

Any other suggestions? I'm hoping for something that could be managed remotely, so I'm not sure if Ghost would do what I need, anyway (have they come up with a version that works for 2003 Server?).

Thanks in advance!!!

Aaron,

I use Altiris on a daily basis to reimage classrooms...I can do it remotely, and it does sound as if Altiris would solve your need.
