Hi,
on my networker Server (Sun V880, Solaris8) I received several times the following message in the daemon.log:

12/06/05 20:42:28 nsrd: Jukebox 'ph9840' failed: Permission denied, user 'root' on '>nsrserverhost<' does not have 'Configure NetWorker' privilege to configure this resource.

(I replaced the LNS-Server name by >nsrserverhost<)

finally it's followed by

error from accept call: Software caused connection abort

12/06/05 23:03:23 nsrd: remote machine is 0.0.0.0/0 and local machine is 0.0.0.0/8795.
service at 0.0.0.0/879512/06/05 23:03:23 nsrd: 9561 cannot accept any more connections - Software caused connection abort

We're running Networker 7.1.3 in conjunction with Alphastor
So, LNS is runnung as AS-Server and AS-Robot Server as well.

I know that latestly at 23:03 pm, there where in fact too many sessions but the problem seams to comes up already at 20:42 pm.

Any clue?

Kind Regards Thorsten

This obviously happens if you opened too many streams. Use the savegroup parallelism to limit the number of streams for a group.
