Sorry for my speelling, I can't get the software Avaya Mannagment Site Administrator, I need it to administrate a S8500, where can I download this software? thanks.

Regards

You can't download it. You'll have to buy a copy from an Avaya Business Partner. You can always administer the system through a telnet session until you locate a copy.

Telnet to the processor, login and use the SAT command with W2KTT as your terminal type.

Also, if you have a friendly Business Partner you work with, they could create an ISO image of the CD for you, and allow you to download it, from one of the free file hosting services, but, you cannot really buy it, it comes with your new switch, it's part of the entitlements with each switch.

What software version is the S8500?.
There is a slightly different version of ASA (but backwardly compatible) for each release of ACM/Aura from 3.0 onwards.
If it is an old version I can let you have a copy of DSA/ASA 2 or ASA 3 (but not 4 or 5) As has been said you should have been issued with an FOC copy with the purchase of the system, otherwise it is licenced software.
As rockspop said you can admin with telnet OK. Download a copy of PUttY FOC from various sites, you will need the SSH version if your ACM version is 4.0 or above. Don't forget you also need to know the IP of the server PMI and a valid login/password.

Speak softly and carry a big switch
