Hello

Any know issues with softphone (2.1.8) which when I downloaded says 2.1.10, but when you go to help and about come back with 2.1.8.

Softphone over a VPN keep dropping out, it registers fine, but after about 5 min it log off.

The older version of softphone works fine.

The unit are all on the latest 2.1 (24)

2.1.8 is the current version of phone manager, which is on the 2.1.10 user CD (clear as mud, right?)

Have you got your VPN set to keep-alive? Is the user logged off even if on a 5 minute conversation, or only after being idle for 5 minutes?

The release notes state thet the problem of phones being taken out of group by selecting prefferences has been resolved

So there problem with clicking prefrences still take users out of the group? That why my customer still getting disabled out of the group!.

The softphone - The vpn is acually software based and does not drop. using the older version of softphone appears to work fine, however the new version was better quality.

IPGuru we don't have that problem in the colonies - it seems to only happen on sites with DT phones, or perhaps it's a locale related bug.

smpatel2 where are you located? If outside North America I recommend (and know IPGuru will heartilly agree) that you do not use 2.1.24 at all - downgrade everything to 2.0.18 and associated applications to their respective levels.

I from the UK - trick to downgrade.
The site is all using analogue phones.

There is still a strong possiblity that the 2.1.24 bugs are locale related, not DT phone related. I would downgrade if you are in the UK.
