softphone setup

Good morning,

I was tasked with setting up some additional softphones on our g4540. Im not as familiar with avaya as I should be. Other softphones we have set up with a port "Sxxxx", when I try and find unused ports I dont see any as such using asa. What command am I looking for to display those?

You don't assign ports to softphones, CM will do that automatically. Create the stations and make sure that on page 1 that IP Softphone is set to Yes.

You also need to set remote softphone emergency calls to "option." This can be found on page 2 of the extension. Otherwise, one-x communicator will complain depending on how you have it setup.
