Hi
My question would be fairly simple =)
Is there a softphone application (like the one-x mobile edition) that works with IP office and not just Communication Manager?

Thanks

Not currently, Roadmap states v4.2 release but we'll see what happens.

sorry to hear that :-(
Thanks for the info.

Yes there is a Softphone that works with IP Office and you need a Lic for Phone Manger Pro and you need to have a VCM Module in the system for it to work.

Im sorry, I wrote it in the topic, but not in the message:
The softphone would be for mobile phones.

Since the IPO allows Avaya Hardphones to work on it, would the Windows Mobile Softphone work? I haven't tested, but think I might... :)

Worst case, the 3rd party h323 license could probably be used.

Any H.323 softphone should work using the 3rd party IP endpoint license.

I have found a nice little H323 and SIP freeware that works great.

SJPhone.

You need ThirdParty licenses.

SoftPhones on mobiles or PDAs have no Qos facilities, this may be a potential problem in busy networks.
I would not advise to sell such a solution.

I had SJPhone on my PDA on a 11Mb wireless network ( IP Office SOE ), it worked but quality was poor and unreliable.
