softphone licensing in cisco call manager

can anyone explain me the process of how softphone liceses works in cisco call manager


are they based on no of concurrent softphone connections registered to call manager, or they based on per pc or per user

appreiciate if anyone can explain or maybe forward links/docs

do you know a good practice how to track the licenses so that duplication or unauthorised users cant use them ( even though the software is installed)

We just give the license to the customers. It is up to them to maintain....
