Is there currently any IP softphones that will run on any PDA's for IP office? My background is Multivantage so I now that solution. Thanks all...

I don't use a PDA personally, but if netmeeting or any other h.323 software will run on your PDA, you could use it with a 3rd party IP endpoints licence. HOWEVER - the quality may not be as good as what softphone would provide.

There is a pocketpc softphone available for download from the the AVAYA support website.
You need phone manager pro+ipro license to make it work.

Hope this helps.

There is no AVAYA SoftPhone for the IP Office wich works on a PDA.
You should be able to use a third party softphone and a H.323 license ( NOT PhoneManagerPro with VoIP, that won't work for a third party softphone )

I have tested some a while ago and it works, search the Internet for H.323 softphones. SIP doesn't work!

Avaya Media Server running Avaya Call Processing (ACP) R10 or Avaya Communication Manager 1.1 or higher

Have you got it working on an IPO?

I tried a while back with o luck

I was not able to get it going, it is definitely a Definity softphone and cannot be connected to a IP Office.
IPHello, if you can i would be more than happy to know how...., i'll rate you with a hundred stars!

You must install it from Microsoft Activesync. It is a softphone for pocket pc from Avaya.
IPhello is right that some HP are readily supported.

Cheers!

Hello! I do not mean i don't know how to install, it just don't connect to the IP Office!

What I do is set it up to "Log into Avaya telephone (via Phone). set the server IP to your phone IP. As long as you have wireless access and say a wireless headset connected to your phone it works just as if you were using phone manager. I got it to work on a Dell Axim X-50 today as well just for giggles.
