Softphone Compatibility

Hello,

Does anyone know if there would be a compatibility issue with running a 2050 R2 softphone with a BCM R5 or R6?

I have a Windows 7 32 bit computer and my copy of the Nortel version 2 softphone works fine on my BCM 50 at 6.0.
