just looking for opinions on softphone to be used in a sort of call centre environment. Customer is keen not to have ip phones, so agents would use a softphone along with headset.
The call centre application would be Xima with live agent reporting functionality, so conscious that the user experience allows them to set features like DND, log in/out of group, call pickup, park etc.
With Avaya communicator being the only softphone application available, moving to equinox when released - it doesn't really work for this scenario.
IPOCC could be an option but then cost is a factor.
Any one aware of something to fit the bill, perhaps even 3rd party?
