Is it possible to use softphone as a member of hunt group?
Softphone 6.0 SP5
CM 5.1

sure....but if it's an eas type group then you need to have an agent id, and they're kinda tough to deal with on a softphone (vs ip agent). if it's an old school ucd type hunt group, then you can just assign it to the group.

No EAS possibility, there are only some "introductory" call centre licenses.

I put softphone in UCD group, but some of the buttons are not working(auto-in, aux-work). I think that this is normal, because this buttons are allowed only for IP agent.

So I made a circular hunt group that contains only one member (softphone)...when you call hunt group, calls do not reach softphone at all. On the other hand, when you call softphone's extension number , it is ringing, you can make calls...

I use softphone in an EAS environment, the ip softphone disables the use of Aux and After call etc... To get around this the agent must dial the feature codes for the various agent states. The buttons are grayed out... but they light if active. I use an autodial button in conjunction with the grayed out items. It works....

I should note by using this method, the PBX needs dial tone to listen to the feature code digits. Meaning if the agent is on a call and needs to change states they must put the caller on hold get dial tone and then dial the feature codes. If a queue is built up, the agent would have a hard time doing this between calls.

There is a limit in disp capacity "Logged-In IP Softphone Agents:" On 5.1.1 it's 800... on 3.1.4 as I remember it was 300.

Saves $$$ something like $200 a seat... but it is a bit of a pain. I've found my users/customer don't care and have rolled with it.
