Softphone 2050, stuck with strange displays!

BCM 50 Rls 2 and updated.

We have 2 Softphones in use. 1 works fine but the one more recently installed behaves strangely.

I will sometimes show a random callers number on the display section, put a blue flashing phone by an intercom key and then lock the phone completely. The only way to clear the fault is to re-boot the computer. Closing the phone down and restarting does not work.

Tried the docs but could find nothing relevant.

Ideas appreciated please!!!!

You could uninstall and install again. I'll bet it's the PC it's running on.

If it is a 2050 rls 1 running on XP or Vista, then that is an unsupported configuration. You need the rls 2 2050 for either XP or Vista.

I used Rls 1 on XP for 2 years and never had any trouble

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Wholeheartily agree with Ace. I have had no problems running my I2050 rls 1 on XP.

In fact I had a desktop and a laptop and my boss had a laptop all with XP on them, we never had any problems util we upgraded to Rls 2. is was minor stuff but annoying.
