I recently upgraded a Dell Latitude from NT 4.0 TO Windows 2000.
I removed all of the softex software before, but when I went through with the install it still saw the Softex Bay Manager. I couldn't find an uninstall.
The upgrade went perfect. One issue is that when I shutdown or restart, it doesn't complete the shutdown or restart. It shuts down but the power button has to be held down for an 8 second count in order to completely power down or or to shutdown then restart.
Seems like some sort of APM funkiness. It must have to do with the Softex Bay Manager.
Anyone help?
Thanks,
Mike
