On my old IP403 I used eConsole to monitor any queued calls - anytime a call was queued (and the queue was monitored by eConsole) a .WAV would be played an as audible warning. The .WAV file contained a single PING and the file would be repeated for the period the call was queued. I have now upgraded to IP500V2 and eConsole is no longer supported.
The obvious replacement is softConsole - however the problem I'm experiencing is that when a call is moved to a queue SoftConsole will play the .WAV file BUT only once and NOT repeatedly for the period the call is queued.
I tried recording a .WAV with multiple PING's however the problem I now have is that the file runs for 2 minutes and once SoftConsole has called the file it will continue to play (until completion) even when the call has left the queue!
Is there a way for SoftConsole to continue to call the simple .WAV while the call is queued or does anyone have any ideas / suggestions how I may resolve this problem?
