SoftConsole Issue (Big Surprise)

I have a customer on 8.1(57) that has an issue with SoftConsole. When users activate their mobile twinning, the status on SoftConsole shows Forward All. When they answer the phone (deskphone) they do not show BLF status. All of the other users do though.

Any thoughts?

I would move the IPO up to 8.1.85 (just tested this on that release, no issues)

You could even try newer versions, but the latest 8.1 releases has some bugs in VMPro, so I've not moved any customers up there.

Excellent, I will give that a try. I really do hate however that the answer to all Avaya problems is always to upgrade.

That's the price we have to pay to keep the product in-tune with market demands.
Though upgrade is something you only need to do if there is something that needs fixing. Many seems to upgrade themselves into problems

You could even install the SC from scratch too, just in case.

Luckily Avaya is not as eager on the upgrades as Oracle and their Java.
That would have been fun on a monday morning.

Last night the systems were upgraded to 8.1(85) and the problem persists.

Any other suggestions?
