All,
I have a softconsole. release 1.5.
We are using a plantronics wireless headset and when the operator is on a call and there is a second incoming call, the internal speaker on the pc "beeps" to alert the operator to the second call .
This is fine except that it breaks up the speech path on the first call that the operator is currently on. If we turn on "ring on the internal pc speaker " in the audio settings, the speech path breakup does not occur.
With the "ring on the internal speaker " turned off, the only audible alert for the operator to let her know of the second incoming call is a tone in her headset.
The operator wants the louder audible tone from the pc rather than just the tone in her headset.
Has anyone come across this or any thoughts on it ? If I put a soundcard and some speakers on the PC, will the console still ring the Internal pc speaker ?
thanks
