SoftCOnsole bug in V2.1(24)

Softconsole in V2.1(24) is broken!

is the operator trys to perfom a supervised transfer, gets no answer & then presses hangup to return to the orriginal caller both calls are disconnected.

This was an Intermitant fault with V2.1(15) but is now 100%!

A work around is for the receptionist to press transfer compleate then reclaim the call.

Avaya currently do not intend to release a fix for this untill V3.0 (although they do have private builds that cure the problem)

Come on Guys are you serious?

Thank god I didn't upgrade a user when I went to site yesterday - they loved the way it was working, so I assumed the 24 release would make something c*ck up!

Surely a supervised transfer should be the first thing that is tested!
 
I think its time for a holiday, say until V10 comes out !!

Argh - I have a client who has been having call center problems, I was toying with upgrading them to 2.1.24 but after the problems they endured under 2.1.15 I wanted to wait for some feedback. They use softconsole. Thanks for posting this IPGuru now I know to hold out for R3!

heres one for you
I have just come back from a site where the receptionists are licence for 2 soft consoles.
when you park a call on slot 1 to 4 it does not show on the other users soft console and vice versa but it will show on phonemanagers. if you park it on 5 to 16 no problem it is seen by the other soft console.that means phonemanagers dont see it unless you configure there park ids as 5 to 8.
I have tried reparing uninstalling/reinstalling and rebuilding the profile. still happens.
