Softconsole 2.1 Reclaiming Calls

Biggest Problem Softconsole

System 412 with 6 x DT30 and 1 x phone 30 and an SO8
Software level 2.1
VMPro 2.1


When one of the reception operators transfers a call to a user or meeting room that doesn’t have voicemail or is not answered the call basically is lost or cannot be reclaim. If the call does return to reception it takes 30 seconds or more to return and then they are not able to answer the call.

Is any thing i can do to recalm these calls

take a look in the user telephony tab

Transfer return time is the setting you are looking for
 
The users are in a group called Reception.

Do i place the transfer return time on the recption users or on the each other company users
 
you can also use the reclaim featur on the softconsole to recall the call sooner if required
 
Reclaim feature doesn't work unless the call is answered. by voicemail etc. i changed the default time on the four console users to 10 sec in transfer return time but it doesn't work.
 
At this point I would probably chalk it up to yet another R2.1 bug. If it's not killing you try to hang in there another week (hopefully) for the maintenance patch. If it is killing you - consider downgrading to 2.0.18

ONE SOLUTION IS THE HOLD KEY ON THE TELEPHONE NOT ON THE SOFTCONSOLE NUMBER AND THE TIME RETURN DOESN'T WORK
