soft phone connecting to the UCX

Hi guys,
Question: I created a soft phone using my sip line in zoiper. I am trying to add this line to my UCX system. I created and extension for it and added that to a ring group. I can call out on the phone but it is not connected to the UCX. It is registered.
if I go to the Asterisk CL line and sip show peers this is what I get
Name/username 502 (this is the actual ext #)
Host unknown
status UNKNOWN
port 0

Not sure where to look for further instructions. I checked the documentation and it did not go into much detail. I have 2 separate things...and want to just connect them.

If you are able to make a call out but not receive a call then your phone is probably not registered. Evidenced by the sip show peers report with no ip address or port
You can check the registration using the command 'sip show registry'

In the zoiper client when you set up the SIP Account select the Show advanced options check-box and populate the Auth. username: with the extension number.
Check the registry again using the command listed above to see if it has registered.
