soft keys blanks out on phones

I have a few 3903 and 3904 phones that would loose the soft keys like forward cwait redial. If if unplug the rj11 (telepone cable) from the phone and replug the cable back into the phone the softkeys will come on for about 1 min, then disappears. I also disable the phone and re-enable the phone and the same problem occured. Is there something else that i can do. I did not change the phone, i will try that also.

Make sure there up to the latest firmware that you have on the switch

I would reload the firmware
you can do a force download in ld 32
