I need to purchase some lock keys for Voip but i cannot log into the system using hyperteminal like on ldk50/100/300. what are the commands .

What software level do you have?
Check with [TRANS/PGM]+72.

If you have version 1.0, then:
You must telnet to the ip address of the LDK-24, and login with your userid and password.
Then type "co e" (for console enable), and "call".
In the "folder" call> type "mnt q w 5 (lock_key)".
E.g.(it will look like this): 192.168.1.1/call> and here you type "mnt q w 5 (lock_key)". The lock key numbers you get form your local LG-Nortel dealer.

So:
192.168.1.1/call>mnt q w 5 (lock_key)

License 5 i s for VoIP.

If you have version 3.0/3.7 check the maintenance part of Telephony Administration.

Telnet is done on port 23. Restart the Nexer after you have entered the lock key.

Thanks but besides pgm78 am i able to get the software key on hyperterminal. i need to get the softkey first and send it to Lg for me to get the lock code. for example in ipldk100/300 its miant> q d . the system will give all the details and capture it as a file then send to LG for processing the lock key.

Of course I forgot to tell you where to find the serial number. This is done with [TRANS/PGM] +78.
The serial number has to be sent to LG - also with a request for license 5 (VoIP).

can is use the same commands to get the serial key, i want to capture it in file format but i cannot since i dont know the commands. pgm78 is not good you may make a mistake in copying the numbers

I used to write the number down one-by-one. I don't think that you can wriet to a log file.
Otherwise you can make a screen dump by ALT+PrintScreen.
