I have a simple listener that I am using on my LAN.
It works fine of ethernet but not on WiFi.

Is there something different I have to do on WiFi?

The source is attached.

thanks

I don't see how it would. the only difference between wired and wireless is physical. once the connection is established physical shouldn't matter.

I don't see why it would matter either.
But it does.
I have a three machine LAN.
Two are hardwired, one is WiFi.
The hardwired work.
The WiFi doesn't.
Same program.

hardwire the wifi connection and test to ensure it is the wifi connection, and not something else. also try using a wifi connection on one of the hardwired machines and try to reproduce the problem.

The problem is with the machine!
I put one of my other boxes on wifi and it works ok.
The machine that doesn't work is a dell laptop and it has an ungodly number of services fired up as well as the run registry being loaded.

Thanks. I'll abandon the laptop.
