sockets and childprocesses

im trying to write a concurrent server in c++ (win32)using socket streams. after listening and accepting the request from a client,im creating a child process through which im passing the socket-id obtained from listen() as a parameter to the new program that is being started by the child process. when i use this socket-id in the new program(child process) im not able to recieve any data using recv() and recv is returning a value of -1.<br>

can some body help me over this.<br>
