Socket Operation on Non Socket???

Curently running MF XP, and after initial headache have had no problems. Then for no reason, several remote users are getting the following message:

"Cannot connect to Citrix Server. Socket operation on non-socket"

Users are connecting via ADSL/VPN through a Firewall.

Any ideas why this would happen?
