Hi Guys,

I have requirement of sending an email using Socket Adapters and the email should be of latest XHTML standards.

PUT ("SOCKET", -HOST 192.1.82.111 -PORT 1234 -EOM "end", DataToSend)

If this works... then i also need some help in generating the email according to the XHTML standards... Any help docs on the same...

thanks,
sid

Why can't you use the email adapter?

the socket adapter is designed to send or receive a load of information with the occasional break but SMTP is fairly interactive - you need to issue a bunch of commands and check the responses before sending the email.

So if the email adapter is not available you may be best just writing a telnet script.
