I have an So*8 module running with a 412 with 2.1 software across the board. We have 2 of the 8 ports connected into the back of a fax server running the calls in the So8 Module but they don't get to the fax server.

The SC set up for the ISDN is

SC: SBUS
TN: SBUS
LG: 801
FT: Dail

Incoming call route
0
IN 670452
DES SBUS
prioty 1

Bearer Capability ANY

If i read your short code correctly then you shuld not be using alphamerics try the following

SC: 666 (yes peter my standard trouble shooting code:) )
TN: .
lg 801 (assuming this is the outgoing line groupe id of the s bus
feature dial

route all incomming call routed for the Sbus to 666
the dot in the short code will mean that the recieved DDI digits will be sent to the fax server. (everything dialed to activate the code)

There is a group of DDI which go to this fax server which end in 400 - 499 how can i point this range at the fax server using port 1 and 2 on the So8 i cannont find any manual for this module can you help any one

Thank IP Guru

assuming tel no 0123456400 - 0123456499 use the following incomming call route

incomming number -01234564
dest 666 (or whatever the SC for the SO module is)

the - character tels the ipo to match left to right instead of right to left.

check the help files for further info

Hmmm... I always use 777 for troubleshooting. I guess that makes me the good, you the bad, and who here would like to be the ugly? ;-)

Ok i did all of that but the lights on the So8 Module flash when an incoming call comes in but doesn't get to the omnitool fax server.

also with the ddi range ending in 0400 - 0499 i get a busy or disconnected for the incomming all route

and i use say 020846304

By any chance are you using LCR. If so I found that you need to duplcate the short code in LCR other wise the system will send the call to your line group that is in your LCR shortcodes.

I found this out by using call status. You can see the system get stuck in a loop till all your lines are taken up by this one call.

LCR is done at the exchange by BT so there is no lcr code's in the manager config

I placed each of the DDI as an incoming call route and diverted to 1 extension with 3 faxes. the incoming first 6 numbers doesn't work.
