Has anyone in the USA installed a SO module in an IP Office 406 w/PRI for video conferencing? If so where did you get documentation on the installation?
Thanks.

I would look in manager under configuring SO. It is very easy to configure.

Basically Plug in / reboot / configure shortcodes

Agree with MrIPO

The S0 module will allow outgoing calls without any reconfiguring.

Short codes only required to route incoming call destined for the S0 connected devices.

I have tried this with no success. Our provider gave me an article that had me dedicate 6 channels of the PRI for data and created a new group for these channels. Is there any doocumentation for the correct creation of the shortcodes needed to make the thing work? Also what ISDN standard do I configure the VC for? The documentation I have says to configure it for European ISDN. I have tried all the ones available to the VC system and I can't make an outbound call.

to combine So prots set the OUTGOING line group to the same number.

To route a call to So module creat a shortconde as follows

Short Code: *99
Telephone Number .
Line group ID <Outgoing Group Id for the So port(s)>
Feature Dial

Add an incomming call route & type the short code into the destination field.
make sure the bearer capability is set to ANY or Voice
otherwise you will not recive calls!
You should not have to split the Pri.

ETSI uses a 64k bearer & i believe that us lines are 56k this may be a cause of problem so check the options in the line field for the So module
