Snom D735 phone with a, Sennheiser office runner OR BS–US headset issue 1

I have a Snom D735 phone with a, Sennheiser office runner OR BS – US headset. The headset connects to the PC using USB and to the phone using the CEHS-SN 01 adaptor by Sennheiser. The setup works well except on incoming calls the phone rings ok but the wireless headset does not. I can still pick up the call but just can't hear the ringing coming from the headset. Any ideas?

(by the way, the Snom-EHS adaptor did not work well)
