I have Enterprise Linus AS4.0 running on a server. I am trying to gt MRTG working and all seems well but when I try to test the SNMP using snmpwalk it says no file found.

Searched the machine for it and no joy, the snmpd is running?

Any ideas?

Are you saying that you searched the machine for snmpwalk and couldn't find it?

It is supposed to be bundled with the ucd-snmp RPM that includes the snmpd daemon.

Are you sure that it isn't in one of the sbin directories? Are you attempting to run it as root?

Yeah logged in as root, and nothing anywhere, including /sbin. The daemon RPM's are loaded:

[root@XELOR /]# rpm -qa | grep snmp
net-snmp-5.1.2-11
net-snmp-libs-5.1.2-11

Any ideas?
