SNMPv3

Hello,

I recently configure a snmpv3 in a router Cisco and Orion SolarWind.

This is the conf in the cisco router

snmp-server group test v3 priv match exact
snmp-server user test test remote 192.168.254.253 v3 auth md5 test1 priv des56 test2
snmp-server manager

When i configured in the solarwind the same parameters
i got a message of "error snmpv3 unknow user name"
also i got from wireshark trace a meessage of unknowengineID from the Orion to the router.

Any ideas why happend this?

If you are getting the information back then this message is fine. It is part of the SNMPv3 discovery process.
