I want to run snmpd and dpid2d ( translate dpi and smux ?)
Then logfiles grows with these errormessages :

Which looks allright.
If I stop dpid2 the errors stop, so is dpid2 "necessary" ?
Thoe Oracle IA seems to do ok without dpid2, since when I stop IA this is generated in snmpd.log

from snmpd.conf I can run snmpd and dpid2 without generating any significant lock, but Oracle IA wont startup ...
so, should I bother ? any very good faq's on this subject ?
I have tried looking a little bit at redbooks, but hoping that somebody knows these things
