hello. we have a new modular ics and a callpilot 150. i was under the impression i'd be able to get snmp traps from the thing. question: how do i configure it to do so and is there an accompanying mib and what types of info can i get from it? or, am i barking up the wrong tree? thanks.
 
the callpilot might have it - as the bigger platform callpilot does have snmp nad nortel given mibs ...

dont know of an option to configure it ... but still not sure if does have snmp capability
 
What do you want it to tell you? You can access it's web interface, if it is connected to your network. The default IP is 192.168.110.10 if that helps.
 
i would like to see if there are options for traps on login-logouts, call stats, dropped calls, etc... i want to write some in house management applications. thank you
 
are we talking call center or voice mail and what did your vendor say when he sold it to ya

I have seen no reference on SNMP for CallPilot on Norstar.
Nothing in the documentation I have seen or the application itself even eludes to SNMP support for CallPilot 100/150.
BCM supports SNMP.
CallPilot is native to BCM.
Nortel publishes MIB's for BCM.
CallPilot for Meridian 1 might support SNMP (haven't checked for sure).

Get an SMDR or CTA100 and call accounting software (I like Cintech's TeleSeries). This will monitor all traffic and tell you whatever you want to know.
 
login-logouts, call stats, dropped calls, etc...

The reporting package for Call Center reports on this.
Dropped calls? NO
Abandoned calls YES

CallPilot will not send via SNMP these are historical and real time reports.
