SNMP upgrade for NetSight

All,

Been asked by management to implement NetSight on the LAN, however security is requiring SNMP V2 or higher on all servers to be monitored. I have some older 4.0 servers, but my research shows the 4.0 only runs SNMP1. Is it possible to upgrade SNMP versions on a 4.0 box?
