snmp traps

Hi,

I'm looking for a freeware which send emails alerts when snmp traps are received. I've already try many soft (snmp trap watcher for ex) but didn't reach my aim yet...
I would like to use it in complement of mrtg.
I know someone has already answer that question before but i precise that the freeware i'm looking for has to run under win2k..

You will have to do a bit of programming of your own but it is doable.

Get Cgywin (

http://www.cygwin.com/)

and put it on your Windows 2000 box. Then install the net-snmp utilities (

http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/).

It has a snmptrapd demon.

Then write a program in your favorite language to take it's output and send it as e-mail.

You could also check out the PERL area
