SNMP Traps

Has anyone set this up before? If i am going to send these traps out to a NOC, is there a third party piece of software that i need to send the traps as emails?

There are a number of freeware and shareware applications that can listen to SNMP traps. If you google for SNMP Monitoring, you will find many options.
