I am seeing a lot of SNMP traffic on a layer 3 switch's interface that is between an OpenView system and that particular IP of the interface. I am seeing get next requests coming from the OV system, and the corresponding get response frames, but what I'm also seeing are a lot of get response frames where I can not find a matching get next request. In addition to this, I am seeing a lot of get response frames sourced by the interface destined to the OV system that do not contain any request ID information. The ID field is blank, so I'm not sure what those frames belong to. Has anyone seen this before?
