Hi
I've just configured some CISCO routers to send all possible SNMP traps to the SNMP server (third party software).
Sometimes I have receive a trap with clear comment included (like: LinkUP, LinkDown, etc). However some of them are not readable, e.g.
[public][1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.26.2][714578128][10.0.0.1] 21 4 [Ver1][Enterprise].
How can I read (implement) them?
Is it any SNMP standard?
Thanks for help
Regards
Tom

You have to download all the latest mib defination files from cisco. Integrate them into you're third party platform. When these come in they should be then translated into a sensible message...This happens quite regularly with cisco stuff....
