SNMP on LINUX 1

How do we install SNMP service on LINUX and tips on configuration of /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf

Here are some places that can be of help. I run snmp as a daemon started up in my rc.local file with just:
# SNMP Protocal
/usr/local/sbin/snmpd

As for the snmp.conf file its pretty straight forward to edit which for security purposes
I can't show you mine of course. But if you email me direct I can then forward a copy
to be of help. the key is just using these:
rwcommunity NeedPassword [your domain]
rocommunity [community name]
