Well, the way the bigger Network Monitoring tools like Cisco Information Center do it, is conprised of all of the mibs being in one gigantic switch statement in which the case tells what mib to be searched. If the case matches, then it goes into that include file to search for the mib match. If all of the other mibs have been searched, and it doesnt match, you can either discard it or display it as the integer string.
