I've been trying to get snmp information about a running database. I have the master peer and encapsulator peer both running, and I've started the oracle snmp agent with $oracle_home/bin/lsnrctl dbsnmp_start.

Starting up the snmp agent with lsnrctl does indeed export more variables such as the name of the running database, but they're in these two parts of the mib tree:

mib-2.27 and mib-2.39

while I'm looking for variables from

enterprises.111

Does anyone know what I need to get the enterprises.111 variables?

Much obliged,

Ryan

I do not know what mib-2.27 and mib-2.39 are but
it sounds like your situation is similar to what
I first saw with snmpwalk because it was using a
default set of MIBs that did not include Oracle's.
Have you got Oracle MIB module on the tool you
are using?
